LOL PAINTTOOL SAI SERIOUSLY You take any old wander around DeviantART and you see everyone using SAI. So I decided to give SAI another go, since it's been rotting on my computer for a long time.
The result? Struggling with the brushes (very nice flow, though) and getting something done that would look identical to something I can do in Photoshop in less than half the time. Will definitely have to explore SAI some more.

Great Chibi! I just love the colouring - it's so clean and more realiastic. And I can't tell how much I like the hair - the placement of highlights and shading is so detailed and well made.. I also like your choice of colors, good work! And I just took a look at your profile, you're just 19 (and younger than I am XD). Your skills are outstanding for your age! Do you want to be a professional some day?
They're actually deliberately put in to act as another way of identifying the artist. In case the person for whom I drew this didn't want my username to be so visible, I'd just remove the username layer and leave the arrows, to show that I am the artist of this chibi.
So I just have to say THANK YOU for doing this for me! I'm a bit under the weather right now, hence why I am not yet replying to your message on Subeta, but ksgsjgdj AAAAHHH damn, I can't believe you haven't used SAI that often! I mostly use SAI for my illustration to be honest, because of the very fluid flow (even when I use my touchpad, I find that the brushes flow nicely,) although I was struggling with it for the most part the first few times I used it. Still, I can't do design on SAI, so PS + Illustrator for that, har har 8D
So I just love the coffee mug you added as a touch I'm just s c REAM you drew Shinya amazingly and I can't thank you enough for this! Excuse me for being a tumblr right now, I'm just so delighted to see this ;___;
Thanks for the luck about SAI, haha. Yes, let's vow to each take a few hours to sit down and actually interrogate the program :<
No problem; I do hope you feel better soon. I've used SAI for like one sketch freebie last Morostide and I think that's it LOLOLOL That program is scary. Yes indeed! The flow of the brushes is what drew me back. Must say I don't actually know how Illustrator differs from Photoshop, haha. Research time.
